Brooke Imber is an art teacher at Keister Elementary School who believes the best classroom sometimes doesn’t have walls. A big fan of fresh air, stick fort building, and squirrels, she has collaborated with hundreds of community members to create multiple outdoor learning spaces so her students can make art while surrounded by the things that inspire it.
Her photography series, Earth Bliss, is a collection of moments that made her stop and say, “Whoa, that’s pretty sweet.” The images range from wide landscapes to close-up views of moss, surprise appearances from cute animals, and natural lighting that showed up at just the right moment. Some photos capture big views, while others zoom in on tiny details that most people walk right past. Each photograph reflects Brooke’s belief that beauty and curiosity can be found in the smallest details of the environment.
Through both her teaching and her art, Brooke encourages others to slow down, look closely, and reconnect with the natural world. Earth Bliss is an invitation to notice the quiet magic that surrounds us every day.
